Women of the ELCA Sixth Triennial Gathering
Women of the ELCA held their Sixth Triennial Gathering in San Antonio, Texas from July 5- 11, 2005. Grace Matters was present at the gathering, hosting a booth where participants had a chance to learn more about the program and even enter a drawing. Grace Matters also hosted an ice cream social where the participants had an opportunity to meet and greet with the host, Peter Marty. It was estimated that about 450 people gathered to eat ice cream and be "social."

Dorothy- a wonderful WELCA volunteer who helped staff the Ice Cream Social. Dorothy greeted the guests and gave each one a small travel mirror. On the mirror case it said, "Look inside! See an image of God's amazing grace."
Pastor Marty enjoyed the "social" part of the afternoon.
